Thank you for your interest in applying for a position with Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese (CSPD). We welcome passionate individuals to share our commitment to serving children and young people in Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains.

At any given time, we may have a variety of primary, secondary and specialist teaching roles available across our 80 schools as well as non-teaching positions in schools and our central office that support the delivery of innovative learning and teaching to around 43,500 students.

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teacher’s Aide to work closely with our school community and assist all of our students to achieve success.

About the opportunity:

We invite applications from suitably qualified Teacher’s Aides who have a well-developed capacity to support the mission, teachings and ethos of the Catholic Church’s work in schools. The successful candidate will:

  • Work collaboratively with other school staff to provide support and assistance to teachers, students and school leadership in the successful delivery of school learning and pastoral outcomes.
  • Support the mission, teachings and ethos of the Catholic Church’s work in schools.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrate the ability to follow direction, prioritise and meet set deadlines.
  • Demonstrate interpersonal skills in working with a range of personnel.


About you:

To be successful in this highly rewarding role you will demonstrate alignment to the core purpose and values of Good Shepherd along with:

  • Relevant qualifications and previous experience in working with students with additional needs
  • Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation – Working with Children Check clearance
  • Effective interpersonal skills and collaborative teamwork
  • Strong planning and organisation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain the quality of assigned work
  • Able to assist in motivating students to achieve and develop a life-long love of learning.
