Position Summary

The SEO Sr. Associate is responsible for the execution of organic search strategies for individual clients of Rocket Clicks. As a front-line team member, they actively engage in search optimization on a daily basis to drive the necessary performance results for their clients. Their attendance and participation in both internal sprint meetings and client calls supports the Account Manager in fostering client confidence. The SEO Sr. Associate also prioritizes the most critical tasks, finding efficiencies through automation and delegation to support team members.

Objectives
  • Execute Rocket Clicks playbook for the particular client industry
  • Ensure account execution follows company First Principles methodology
  • Analyze performance data for monthly and quarterly reporting
  • Execute SEO tasks within weekly sprint planning framework
  • Make updates to websites through CMS’ or direct code injection
  • Work with design and editing partners to ensure marketing campaigns are using the most compelling content creative
  • Execute regular technical SEO health checks for web properties to ensure site compliance
  • Implement and confirm conversion tracking to support reporting and measurement needs
  • Attend virtual client meetings for context and subject matter expertise
  • Execute audits of client and prospect accounts using provided framework to harvest opportunities for growth
  • Work with generative AI to develop search-friendly content for client websites
  • Execute research to support marketing initiatives and direction
Competencies
  • Knack for “figuring it out” when taking on new tasks or processes
  • Strong desire to grow and learn more, highly coachable
  • Technically savvy, able to understand how systems work and interact quickly
  • Collaborative working experience as part of cross-functional teams
  • Understanding of how businesses acquire customers digitally
  • Experience working in content management systems such as WordPress, HubSpot
  • Using SEO software such as Google Analytics, Google Business Profile, Screaming Frog, SEMRush, Ahrefs
  • Reporting against defined performance metrics
Education & Experience
  • 4-year college degree or equivalent experiential knowledge
  • Prior experience working in a professional services organization
  • 0-2 years professional experience in digital marketing
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working
  • This position may require up to 10% travel
