Sydney Dialysis Centre is a statewide home haemodialysis service responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of around 400 haemodialysis machines across the state. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join the large team of technicians who visit patients in their homes to service, repair and install this life saving treatment.

Where you’ll be working
You will be based in the Community Health Centre in St Leonards, which is part of Royal North Shore Hospital

What you’ll be doing
As part of the team, you will be expected to visit patients at home to service and repair machines. Overnight travel and on calls are an expectation of the role.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
  • Electrical Trades Certificate & Industrial Electronics Certificate of the Dept. of Technical and Further Education or such other certificate or course of training as may be deemed appropriate.
  • A major aspect of this role is customer service. Please demonstrate what you think constitutes good customer service.
  • Please demonstrate a time where you had to respond to an unhappy customer, manager, or colleague and what steps you took to resolve the matter.
  • Please demonstrate the last test you would carry out after completed an overhaul of a dialysis machine.
