Key Responsibilities:

– Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed.
– Operate cash registers and handle cash, credit, and debit transactions.
– Scan items, ensure accurate pricing, and process sales quickly and efficiently.
– Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure accurate balances.
– Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a courteous and professional manner.
– Bag, box, or wrap purchased items carefully and efficiently.
– Maintain a clean and orderly checkout area, ensuring supplies are stocked.
– Follow all store policies and procedures, including those related to safety and security.
– Assist with restocking shelves and organizing merchandise when necessary.
– Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.

Job Requirements

– High school diploma or equivalent.
– Previous cashier or retail experience preferred but not required.
– Basic math skills and ability to handle transactions accurately.
– Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
– Excellent communication skills.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
– Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
– Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
– Reliability and punctuality.
– Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
